Small Town 02:34
Small town Everyone knows my name here Everyone knows my family Everyone knows my grandson Bradley's on probation He thought that picture was funny Thought it would only be seen by a couple of friends But come on... everyone talks in a small town Raised a big family who loves me Some show it better than Bradley Some of them moved far away but most still live right here in Hartland Raised all my kids to be decent They're raising their kids the same way Except that I did it with no electricity Hush now, the fireworks start any minute They're always a half hour late But when all this is over you'll be glad you were here In a small town In a small town

Nori likes cats with food names And flowers on her table When Cupcake eats the flowers Nori says, "Get off the table!" Sebastian has four plants Nori has none Except when Sebastian buys her flowers for her table Let me trim 'em for you, baby Let me trim 'em for you, baby Sugar in the water, maybe I been thinkin' 'bout you lately Nori prefers the mango If you buy strawberry-banana Nori will drink the smoothie but she'll say, "I also like the mango." Sebastian has four plants But one is fake Sebastian can't remember to water once a week So she says, "It's Water Wednesday, baby" "Yeah, it's Water Wednesday, baby" "Text me two reminders maybe, I been thinkin' 'bout you lately." It's Friday afternoon You made it through the workweek Let's celebrate with Cupcake On my way I'll pick up smoothies Mango or strawberry? Was it mango or strawberry? Which one was your favorite, baby? I been thinkin' 'bout you lately I been thinkin' 'bout you, baby I been thinkin' 'bout you, baby I been thinkin' 'bout you, baby I been thinkin' 'bout you lately

A"me"rica 02:38
Take a vote Dig a moat Right down the middle Partisan No one wins Right down the middle Watch the news Just your views Right down the middle Wrong or right Black or white Right down the middle Well you got yours and I got mine and no one cross the dotted line Disagree to disagree When you're living free in A"me"rica Not united Just divided Right down the middle Common ground can't be found Right down the middle I know I'm right, prepare to fight Right down the middle I'll fight behind a screen online Right down the middle Well you got yours and I got mine and no one cross the dotted line Disagree to disagree When you're living free in A"me"rica While we try to see eye to eye The planet burns and people die Well you got yours and I got mine and no one cross the dotted line Disagree to disagree When you're living free in A"me"rica

Angela 02:38
If the angels were silent, like you There'd by nine days of waiting for each prayer to go through And each miracle would take nine days to approve If the angels were silent, like you But there's just this one thing that bothers me most I thought you were an angel, but you're just a ghost There's been a chill in the air for a week And overcast skies look like Rorshach to me Look up above, tell me what do you see? Is it haunting or heavenly? But still there's that one thing that bothers me most I thought you were an angel, but you're just a ghost Why would a ghost choose to stay? Unfinished business, they say... But can you imagine a future with backspin, Just living the past every day Still there's that one thing that bothers me most I thought you were an angel, but you're just a ghost I could use a good haunting, if you still need a host...

Old lady in a Subaru Big, brown dog is riding, too Big, brown dog with his head out the window Gas cap blowing in the wind Ain't worried 'bout a thing Old lady with her windows down Not much hair to blow around Old lady's driving slow Cars are zipping past There's nothing she does fast Old lady in a Subaru Rear-view mirror's gone askew She's not looking anyway Ain't worried 'bout the past No reason to look back She ain't looking, ain't looking back She ain't worried 'bout the past She ain't looking, ain't looking back She ain't worried 'bout the past She ain't worried 'bout the past She ain't worried 'bout the past

Trash 01:17
My neighbor is yelling as he takes out the trash He says, "Nobody thanks me when I take out the trash!" And that's probably true, nobody thanks you Who am I to preach? Lord knows that I can complain more than most But if honesty is what you seek You should know I laughed out loud... When my neighbor was yelling as he took out the trash He said, "Nobody thanks me!" And then he heard me laugh He heard, I could tell 'Cause he turned and said, "Go to Hell!"

The government is lying to you Just not about the shape of the Earth It's a sphere! It's a sphere! Did you hear? Did you hear? It's a sphere, it's a sphere, it's a sphere I admit that this conspiracy's inventive But government lies need incentive Why lie about the skyline? The government is lying to you Just not about basic science Things fall at a speed It's the law of gravity Have a seat under an apple tree I admit that this conspiracy has merit If you have the intelligence of a ferret Why lie about the skyline? The government is lying to you The government is lying to you But it's a verifiable fact The Earth is not flat

Daisy 02:16
Daisy knows what she wants- knows what she needs Write it down on paper Tuck it in a bottle Toss it in the waves Watch it float away Everything you need is floating on the sea Everything you need, Daisy Daisy knows what she wants- knows what she needs Write it down on paper Tie it to a rocket Aim it toward the sky Step back, watch it fly Everything you need is floating on the sea You don't gotta try, it's raining from the sky Everything you need is floating on the sea Everything you need, Daisy Daisy

Rain 02:53
Eyes closed, window open Rain's coming in I dreamed that it rained forever A flood for all our sins The road is a river The river is a lake The lake is an ocean The ocean is the whole world And the rain is coming down hard tonight My mind is an ocean vessel I ship built to explore The only issue is that any wave will throw me overboard The road is a river The river is a lake The lake is an ocean The ocean is the whole world And the rain is coming down hard Oh the rain is coming down hard Oh the rain is coming down hard tonight The road is a river The river is a lake The lake is an ocean The ocean is the whole world And the rain is coming down hard tonight

Honey 02:49
You been on my mind, honey When I see the sun Circling 'round my world, honey Rising every dawn Why you work so long, honey? That ain't time well spent I would spend all my time with you 'Round the world and back again If your heart has room then take my hand, and we can make it through Come along with me, honey You been on my mind, honey When I play guitar Tried to write this song, honey Only got this far... If your heart has room then take my hand, and we can make it through Come along with me, honey What I'm trying to say, honey You're my everything Love you now, loved you then 'Round the world and back again

I remember 20 years ago Over the P.A. at a local show Your favorite song, "Say It Ain't So" Everybody sang along I don't remember who was there with us Probably a youth group in an old church bus But I remember I heard you cuss You made it sound like a song Packed in tight like a sardine can By the time it was time for the band Pretty sure I touched your hand Didn't hear a single note On the ride home you sat with Luke Head on his shoulder, makes me want to puke In my head it's Weezer on loop Say it ain't so... Say it ain't so Say it ain't so Say it ain't so Say it ain't so

Every Halloween On the street, trick or treat Every house but mine Even if I leave on the light This old house could be "home" If I could let your memory go This old house could be "home" to me 1983, we bought the house for cheap Fix it up, save a buck, we agreed It had bones to support a family This old house could be "home" If I could let your memory go This old house could be "home" to me Eight months were great From October to May But you sick, passed away And somehow I was the ghost who stayed This old house could be "home" If I could let your memory go This old house could be "home" to me Halloween, I'll set you free 35 years since you bought the house with me Spread your wings, take your flight On this cool Autumn night I won't cage you in my mind anymore I will hold you in my heart I will hold you in my heart I will hold you in my heart, But I will let you go I will let you go I will let you go I will let you go

I love the spirit of Southern goodbyes Just try to be careful, or they'll keep you all night A hug in the kitchen, in the driveway two more One last conversation with your hand on your door Turn the ignition, but don't drive away Roll down your window, there's still more to say There's something attractive about Irish goodbyes Dispense with the fanfare, slip into the night But down in Kentucky they want some Romance And Southern goodbyes are an intricate dance

Where You Go 02:27
Where you go, I will go You lead, I'll follow Slick ice or a foot of snow Where you go, I will go I'd roam the world with you Do as my honey do Grow wings and I'll grow 'em, too I'd roam the world with you Where you go, I will go You lead, I'll follow Slick ice or a foot of snow Where you go, honey, I will go with you
